Simplify the modelling of your projects by adding our decors to SketchUp. Access the RESOPAL library on the 3D Warehouse platform and test the decors in real-life situations in just a few clicks.
To use RESOPAL decors in SketchUp, simply access our library on 3D Warehouse and select the desired material or model. When you import it into your project, the decor is automatically added to the SketchUp material palette. All you have to do is select it from this palette and apply it to your surfaces to obtain a faithful and realistic rendering.

Are the textures to scale?
Yes, the downloadable files are zip files supported by Mac and Windows systems. From the 3D Warehouse, integration is done directly into your software. The zip download files contain the list of decors in .SKM format and are compatible with Mac and Windows.

Are there any video tutorials?
Yes, RESOPAL has developed a series of three videos with SketchUp expert Sébastien Maison to help you understand how to use and install RESOPAL decors in SketchUp 3D modelling software. He will also explain how to use ‘Normal map’ files to simulate Polyrey finishes for photorealistic rendering (PBR, Physically Based Rendering).
Can the files be used with other software?
No, the files available for direct download from the RESOPAL website have the extension .SKM, which is a proprietary extension of SketchUp software. You can only use the decors provided with this software. For other software, the ability to download decorative panels directly from the Eshop allows you to manually produce your simulations from RESOPAL files. As for the definition files with the .PNG (normal map) extension, they can be used with most rendering software (Blender, V-Ray, etc.) for photorealistic rendering (PBR, Physically Based Rendering).
Are the definition files (normal maps) to scale?
There are four finishing files provided with different scales. The finishing renderings are sometimes very difficult to see at a scale of 1:1. We provide files for simulations, which give an idea of the rendering and the effect of the finish, but these are not contractual. This can give a fairly accurate idea of the final appearance of a substrate, but is for information purposes only. Only a physical sample requested from the samples department can give you the actual appearance and 1:1 scale of the surface finish.
